Terms of Service

Last updated: October 20, 2026

1. Service Description

ElectriCount is an electrical estimating platform operated by SoftOhm Systems LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA ("we", "us"). It helps users upload electrical drawings, perform takeoff, review symbol counts and measurements, prepare material and labor worksheets, and export estimating documents.

2. Estimator Responsibility

ElectriCount provides workflow tools and automated assistance. It does not replace professional judgment, field verification, code review, engineering review, or bid approval by a qualified person. Automated counts, OCR, computer vision results, measurements, catalog matches, labor calculations, and exports may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing all outputs before relying on them in a bid, contract, purchase order, installation plan, or other commercial decision.

3. Account and Access

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe an account is being misused, is creating operational risk, or violates these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

  • Do not upload files you do not have the right to use.
  • Do not upload malicious files, unlawful content, or data you are prohibited from sharing.
  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, billing, rate limits, or plan limits.
  • Do not reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or abuse the service or its infrastructure.
  • Do not use ElectriCount to create or support unlawful, unsafe, or deceptive activity.

5. Plans, Limits, and Fair Use

Paid plans include the features and usage allowances shown at checkout or in your billing settings, such as project count, stored sheets, file storage, CV page-scans, pages per detection run, and included accounts. These limits may be enforced in the product. We may also apply reasonable fair-use, rate-limit, and abuse-prevention controls to protect service reliability.

6. Subscription, Automatic Renewal, Cancellation, and Refunds

Price. The Pro plan is US$39.99 per month or US$399 per year, and the Business plan is US$89.99 per month or US$899 per year, plus applicable taxes. The price for your plan and billing interval is shown before you pay, on the pricing section of our website, in Settings, and on the Stripe checkout page.

Automatic renewal. Paid plans are subscriptions. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) for a period of the same length, and we or our payment processor, Stripe, will charge your payment method on file at the then-current price. We will give you advance notice of any price change as described in Section 12.

Free trial. The limited 14-day trial is approved manually and does not require a payment method. A trial does not convert into a paid plan unless you choose a plan and complete checkout.

How to cancel. You can cancel at any time in the product under Settings, Plan & billing, Manage Billing (Stripe customer portal), or by emailing support@electricount.com. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period; you keep access until then.

Refunds. Except where required by applicable law or stated otherwise in writing, fees already paid are non-refundable and we do not provide prorated refunds for unused time in a billing period or for downgrades. If you believe you were charged in error (for example, a duplicate charge or a renewal charged after you cancelled in time), contact support@electricount.com and we will review the request.

Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it, restrict paid features, or end the subscription.

7. Uploaded Content

You retain ownership of your uploaded content, including drawings and PDF plans. You confirm that you have the right to upload them and to have them processed by the service (including OCR and computer vision) as described in our Privacy Policy. ElectriCount retains ownership of the product, software, documentation, and service materials. You grant us a limited right to host, copy, process, display, and transmit your uploaded content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and maintain the service.

8. Third-Party Services

ElectriCount relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, storage, email, payments, logging, security, and related operations. Their availability, rules, and processing may affect the service. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free operation. We do not guarantee that any count, estimate, price, labor value, export, recommendation, or automated result will be correct for your project.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SoftOhm Systems LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, bid losses, project losses, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim related to ElectriCount will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or one hundred US dollars.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The parties will first try to resolve disputes informally by contacting support or legal contact channels before pursuing formal proceedings.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product, laws, or business requirements change. If a change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the product, email, or this page. Continued use of ElectriCount after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
